Freshman Basketball fan has trouble finding assigned seat in the Student Section

MILWAUKEE – Freshman basketball fan Morris Clayton left the BMO Harris Bradley Center 10 minutes before tip-off on Saturday after he was unable to find his assigned seat in the student section. Clayton arrived at the BMO at approximately 12:18 p.m. to make sure he secured his seat with plenty of time to see the team warm up before their game against Rockhurst. However, confusion arose when Clayton could not figure out where exactly to view these prized minutes of pre-game action from. “I scoured every single square inch of the student section, and for the life of me I could not find section GA463 or row GA11, it’s almost as if they didn’t exist,” Clayton said. Perhaps more perplexing than the absence of the section and row listed on his ticket was the ease with which his fellow fanatics found their seats. “They didn’t even glance at their tickets, they just walked in and immediately knew where to sit,” Clayton said. “And they all seemed to have lucked out and gotten assigned seats next to their closest friends. It was unbelievable.” Reports confirm that Clayton did inquire about this magical seat finding tactic that the upperclassmen so perfectly utilized, but his questions were usually met with chants of “Freshman!” and “Get out of my face, pledge” which he has verified were simply terms of endearment. After roughly a half hour of searching and struggling, Clayton decided to just head home and watch the game on television. “I won’t drop my morals just to watch some basketball,” Clayton commented. "The thought that I may take someone else’s assigned seat goes against everything I stand for.” Sources have confirmed that Clayton plans to try again next week, but will allow himself an additional hour before the game to make sure he finds his spot with plenty of time to spare.
